AI Academy Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AI Academy website at learnwithaiacademy.com and all associated services, content, and products (collectively, the "Service"). AI Academy ("we," "us," or "our") provides online educational courses teaching users to build mobile applications using artificial intelligence tools.

By accessing our website, creating an account, or purchasing any course, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and purchase courses. By using our Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To access purchased courses, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password, or by authenticating through a supported social login provider (such as Google or GitHub). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

4. Course Purchases and Pricing

AI Academy offers individual courses priced between $19 and $39 (AUD), as well as a Full Access Bundle for $79 (AUD). All prices are listed in Australian Dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Price changes will not affect purchases already completed.

All purchases are one-time payments processed securely through Stripe. We do not offer subscription-based billing. Promotional discounts or coupon codes may be offered from time to time at our sole discretion.

Upon successful payment, you will receive lifetime access to the purchased course or bundle, subject to the terms and limitations set out in Section 6.

5. Refund Policy

All sales are final. Due to the digital nature of our products and the fact that course content is delivered immediately upon purchase, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges.

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing content you have paid for, please reach out to us and we will work to resolve the issue. Technical support does not constitute grounds for a refund if access can be restored.

In exceptional circumstances, refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis at our sole and absolute discretion. Any such consideration does not create an entitlement to a refund.

If you believe a charge was made in error, please notify us within 7 days of the transaction.

6. Lifetime Access

"Lifetime access" means that your access to purchased course content will remain available for as long as AI Academy continues to operate the Service. Lifetime access does not guarantee:

• That course content will never be modified, updated, or restructured
• That the website or platform will remain operational indefinitely
• That specific technologies, tools, or third-party services referenced in courses will remain available
• Access to future courses or content not included in your original purchase

We reserve the right to update, modify, or retire course content at any time. Where course content is significantly updated, we may introduce version acknowledgements. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain access to purchased content, but we do not guarantee perpetual availability.

In the event that AI Academy ceases operations, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice and, where possible, make course content available for download.

7. Acceptable Use

Course content is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial educational use only. You agree that you will NOT:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, or share course materials (including text, code, images, and video) with any third party
• Sell, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise commercially exploit any course content
• Upload or repost course content to any other platform, website, or file-sharing service
• Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to scrape, download, or systematically access course content
• Create derivative works based on our course content for commercial purposes
• Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple users to access courses through a single account
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of our platform
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or connected systems

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on AI Academy, including but not limited to course materials, text, code examples, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, and the overall design and structure of the website, is the exclusive property of AI Academy or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the purchased course content for personal educational purposes only. This license does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

AI Academy, the AI Academy logo, and all related names, marks, and slogans are trademarks of AI Academy. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.

9. User Conduct and Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent payment activity or chargebacks
• Sharing account credentials with unauthorized users
• Distributing or reproducing course content
• Abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior toward our staff or other users
• Any activity that we reasonably believe threatens the integrity or security of our Service

If your account is terminated for violation of these Terms, you will not be entitled to any refund for purchased courses.

10. Disclaimers

The Service and all course content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Course content is complete, accurate, current, or free of errors
• Any specific results, outcomes, income, or success will be achieved by following our courses
• The technologies, tools, or platforms referenced in courses will remain available or function as described
• Applications built following our course instructions will be accepted by any app store or marketplace

Course content is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional, technical, legal, or financial advice. Any applications you build using knowledge from our courses are your sole responsibility.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AI Academy, its owners, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to AI Academy in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be lawfully excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability under the Australian Consumer Law where applicable.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AI Academy and its owners, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or any applications or products you create using knowledge gained from our courses.

13. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with third-party services including Stripe for payment processing and Meta for advertising analytics. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or policies of any third-party service.

Links to third-party websites or resources may be provided for convenience. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, products, or services available from third-party sources.

14. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the Service after any modifications to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

16. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve any dispute within 30 days of receiving your written notice.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may pursue resolution through the courts as set out in Section 15.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AI Academy regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
